    Report & photos from the NDS AGM held in Kenilworth 2012
There was a good turn out, on a warm day in Kenilworth, for our Annual General Meeting.        
There were some stalls selling plants and Tubers.   Plants for sale at the NDS AGM   EC members Alice and June had a selection of dahlia goods for sale as well as raffle tickets.   Alice & June selling dahlia goods
Ron Thomas; Mike Cunningham and Dave Gillam were re-elected to the Executive Council.    Raffle numbers announced   The teas and the lunches were provided by Angela Guest and her daughters and were very well received.  Our thanks go to them.

    Presentations of NDS Silver medals were made by EC chairman Ron Guest to Les Jackson and to Ernie Cawkwell for their services to the society.

In the photo on the right we can see Dave Spencer during his presentation of the new varieties he had seen during 2011.   Dave Spencer talks on new varieties   In the afternoon we had a comprehensive slideshow on pictures from the archives by David Brown.
David also
brought some photos from the archives.  If you have any old slides or photo graphs of dahlias, please lend them to David so that he can add them to the NDS archive.
