Darren wins best in show Darren Everest won the Silver Medal for Best Exhibit in Show for 3 Vases of 5 blooms Small and/or Miniature Dahlias at the Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show near Lingfield in Surrey on Sunday 26th August. 

At the same show, Darren also won the Gold Medal Exhibit in Trade and Non-Trade Exhibits.

Paul Dalby won the Dahlia Championship Class 'The Chestham Park' Silver Challenge Cup and the Silver Medal for Best Exhibit at the Horsham and District Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society show held at Mannings Heath, on Saturday 25th August

Rob Cheetham sent in these photos from the Midlands Dahlia Society Annual show 25th & 26th August.
Ron Guest wins the Midlands championship, showing Kenora Challenger, Mary's Jomanda, Hillcrest Candy and Oakwood / Cherwell Goldcrest. Tom Bebbington still has the knack with Giant Decs winning the Philip Damp Trophy for 6 blooms with Alvas Supreme, Sir Alf Ramsey and Bonaventure. Gabby Hayes wins the 20 bloom class.

Brenda Thomas sent in photos from Sussex C&D show held at Southdowns Nursery, Hassocks on Wednesday 5th September.

Dave Spencer won The Silver Medal for the Best Exhibit in the The Sussex County Challenge Tankard with four vases of 5 Winholme Diane, 5 Marston Suzanne, 5 Dave's Choice and 3 Hillcrest Candy.
Brenda also sent in pictures from the Surrey C&D Show held at The Toyota HQ at Burgh Heath, Epsom, on 9th September. 

David Gillam won the Silver Medal for Best Exhibit in Show in the Surrey Dahlia Championship Class, in this exhibit he also won The John Reed Cup for Best Giant with Kenora Valentine, and the Surrey Purple Rosette for Best Vase in Show with Kenora Challenger .

Ray Weeks wins at Scottish National show Ray Weeks sent in a photo of himself at the Scottish National held on the 4th and 5th September 2012 at Dobbies Garden World, Glasgow.

Ray won the  W. MacFarlane Trophy,  the Scottish National Giant Decorative Championship for 6 Vases of Giants; showing: Sir Alf Ramsey +3, Bryn Turfel, Fairway Spur and Kenora Valentine.
